Grant Program
At the SECU MD Foundation, supporting our communities is at the core of our mission. Our grant program gives us the opportunity to recognize and honor organizations across Maryland that devote their time to helping others. We partner with a number of non-profit organizations throughout the state of Maryland who help serve our community each and every day.
The SECU MD Foundation offers grants to help fund specific programs provided by our community partners. To be eligible, organizations must be a registered 501(c)(3) in the state of Maryland and serve at least one or more counties in the state. Their mission should align with at least one of the SECU MD Foundation pillars of education, health, or community development. Other exclusions apply.*
Applying for a SECU MD Foundation Grant
Grant Seekers will be asked to share the following information:
- Organization Mission & Purpose
- Statement of Need
- Program Description
- Program Costs
- Measures of Outcomes

Grant Program

To support the vital work being done in our communities, we are proud to announce that we will be awarding $70,000 in grants to local Maryland non-profits.
Receiving a SECU MD Foundation Grant
Grant funding requests will be accepted from June 7 – July 16, 2021 through the online application platform linked below. To be eligible, organizations must be a registered 501(c)(3) in the state of Maryland and serve at least one or more counties in the state. Their mission should align with at least one of the SECU MD Foundation pillars of education, health, or community development. Other exclusions apply.*

Applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. on July 16, 2021.
